Statement of Faith

I. The Bible

We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, written by human authors under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the final authority for Christian faith and living. (2 Timothy 3:16-17, 2 Peter 1:20-21)

II. God

We believe in one God, who is eternally existent in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. He is loving, just, holy, and sovereign over all creation. (Deuteronomy 6:4, Matthew 28:19, John 10:30)

III. God the Father

God the Father is the creator and sustainer of all things, who created man in His own image for fellowship and called him back to Himself through Christ as stated in Genesis 1:1 and John 3:16.

IV. God the Son

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, and rose from the dead on the third day. He is now seated at the right hand of God the Father and will return to judge the living and the dead. (John 1:1-14, Romans 5:8, 1 Corinthians 15:3-4)

V. God the Holy Spirit

We believe in the Holy Spirit, who is the third person of the Trinity. He indwells all believers, empowering them to live a life of obedience to God and guiding them into all truth. (John 14:16-17, Acts 1:8)

VI. Salvation

We believe that salvation is a gift of God's grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ alone. It is not earned by good works or religious ceremonies, but is a free gift available to all who believe. (Ephesians 2:8-9, Titus 3:5)

VII. Church

We believe that the church is the body of Christ, made up of all believers. It exists to worship God, to encourage one another, and to share the gospel with the world. (1 Corinthians 12:12-27, Hebrews 10:25, Matthew 28:19-20)

VIII. The Second Coming

We believe in the second coming of Jesus Christ, when He will return to judge the living and the dead and establish His eternal kingdom. (Matthew 24:30-31, Acts 1:11, Revelation 22:12-13)

IX. Eternal Life

We believe in the eternal life of believers in heaven and the eternal punishment of unbelievers in hell. (John 3:16-18, Revelation 20:11-15)
